President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden were visibly present in a photo shared online of the Biden family after taking part in the “polar bear plunge” on Thanksgiving.

Naomi Biden, the eldest daughter of Hunter Biden and ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle, shared a photo in a post on X, of the Biden family wrapped in towels after taking a dip in the freezing cold water off the shore of Nantucket, Massachusetts. Water temperatures in Nantucket Sound were reportedly around 48 F on Thursday.

“Annual Biden fam polar bear plunge,” Naomi wrote. “Happy Thanksgiving!”

Joe Biden arrived on the island of Nantucket on Tuesday evening ahead of Thanksgiving, a tradition that has been in the family since before they were married in 1977, according to Boston.com.

During this year’s visit to the island, the family stayed at the $34 million beachfront home of billionaire David Rubenstein.

The Nantucket Police Department issued a press release regarding street closures and security restrictions from the U.S. Secret Service ahead of Friday’s tree-lighting ceremony, which Joe Biden will reportedly be attending.
