Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is joking about slapping a Republican lawmaker.

Kimmel took aim at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) for lashing out at her fellow Republicans who joined Democrats in a procedural vote to advance the nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.

“Sarah Palin, she seems downright quaint compared to the monsters that are in the House like Marjorie Taylor Greene,” Kimmel said.

He continued, “This woman — klan mom — is especially upset with the three Republican senators who said they’ll vote yes on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson… She tweeted, ‘Murkowski, Collins, and Romney are pro-pedophile. They just voted for KBJ.'”

During the Oscars on Sunday night, comedian Chris Rock made a joke about Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, because of her hair.

As The New York Times notes, Pinkett Smith has alopecia which is a condition that leads to hair loss.

After the joke, Will Smith walked up on stage and slapped Rock.

Smith apologized to Rock and said he was “out of line.”

Kimmel is not the first late-night host to feature the incident in a joke about someone they disagree with.

Last week, Stephen Colbert took issue with Fox News’ Peter Doocy’s decision to ask President Joe Biden to clarify some of his comments about Russia.

“Yesterday, President Biden held a press conference, and he was asked a ridiculous question by a ridiculous man, Fox News reporter, and that one kid in high school who wears a suit to gym class, Peter Doocy,” Colbert began.

He continued, “Remember how on last night’s show, I said that slapping was never, ever the answer? I’d like to file a one time exemption on behalf of the President of the United States.”

Colbert’s comments come after Doocy asked Biden to clarify his warning that if Russia used chemical weapons, it would be met with a “significant response” from the U.S.

“What does that mean?” Doocy asked.

“I’m not going to tell you. Why would I tell you? You got to be silly,” Biden responded.

Doocy pressed, “The world wants to know.”

“The world wants to know a lot of things. I’m not telling what the response would be, then Russia knows the response,” Biden said.
