While hosting his show during a new time slot, Fox News host Jesse Watters received some “suggestions” from a caller.

The caller was his mom, Anne Watters, who warned him not to “fall into any conspiracy rabbit holes” and suggested that he put a stop to promoting news that focuses on negative attention to President Joe Biden.

Watters’ mom, a Democrat, called in during his first show in Tucker Carlson‘s old time slot.

“I want to say congratulations, honey bun,” Watters’ mom said. “We are so proud of you and your accomplishments and you’ve worked so hard. Now let’s aim to have you keep your job.”

Jesse Watters' mom (who is a Democrat) calls in to weigh in on his first night in his 8 pm show:

Anne Watters then announced she had some suggestions for him regarding his show.

“I do have some suggestions,” she began. “Do not tumble into any conspiracy rabbit holes. We do not want to lose you and we want no lawsuits,” she said, taking a jab at Carlson and Fox News.

Fox News parted ways with Carlson in April days after the network agreed to settle a defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems, agreeing to pay them $787.5 million.

Though both Fox News and Dominion Voting Systems have denied Carlson’s ousting from the network was part of the settlement, Dominion Voting Systems accused Carlson and a variety of people of spreading the conspiracy theories former President Donald Trump pushed about the rigged election, according to Mediaite.

“We need you to be kind and respectful. You yourself mentioned that humble is a stretch so I get that,” Anne Watters added. “Use your voice responsibly to promote conversation that maintains a narrative thread. There really has been enough Biden bashing, and the laptop is old.”

Since Carlson’s ousting from the network, Watters was suggested among many candidates to be a possible candidate to take over his 8 p.m. time slot, according to The Hill.

Anne Watters finished her advice by wishing her son “good luck” and reminding him that she loved him.

It was recently revealed that Carlson and former White House adviser and Daily Caller co-founder, Neil Patel, were partnering together to create a new media company with roots in Twitter.
