Actor Jeremy Renner is expected to make his first red carpet appearance just four months after his snow plow accident.

On April 11, Renner, 52, will attend the Los Angeles premiere of his four-part Disney+ series “Rennervations,” according to People. The series will be released on April 12.

Per the description, the series will focus on Renner’s “lifelong passion to give back to communities around the world by reimagining unique purpose-built vehicles to meet a community’s needs.”

“I’m buying these decommissioned government vehicles to help reimagine them to serve the community again, just in a different way,” Renner explained in the official trailer.

Renner also said he “wanted to do it for communities and help kids in need all over the world.”

The series will also feature famous stars who will help Renner with his project.

At the end of the trailer, Renner said he wanted “to make actionability and thoughtfulness of others cool.”

In a press release for the trailer, Renner spoke about the project and his accident.

“I’ve been on this journey for many years, and I started in my community by building vehicles for people in need. But a few years ago, I thought, ‘How can I plus this up and create a bigger impact on a whole community’ — and that’s what this show does,” Renner said, per People.

He added, “This is one of my biggest passions and it’s a driving force in my recovery, and I can’t wait for the world to see it.”

On March 26, Renner posted himself walking on a treadmill and updated fans on Twitter about his progress.

“I now have to find OTHER things to occupy my time so my body can recover from my will,” he wrote in the caption.

On New Year’s Day, Renner was in “critical but stable condition” after suffering injuries from a snow plowing accident in Reno, Nevada.
