Actor Jeremy Renner spent quality time with his daughter during an event at UCLA.

On Friday evening, Renner, 52, made a public appearance at UCLA’s Spring Sing 2023 with his daughter, Ava, 10. Renner was a judge for the college’s talent competition featuring the most talented students as they performed song, dance and sketch comedy, according to People.

Renner held hands with his little girl as a Student Alumni Association member guided him to his seat. He was friendly with the crowd and waved as he made his way to the judges’ table with the aid of a cane.

During the event, Renner said how happy he was to be there.

“I’m on a date right now with my daughter,” he said, per People.

He also praised the participants for their talent.

“This is awesome. I couldn’t be happier to sit and watch these [performances]. It takes a lot of courage to get up on the stage and do this, and I commend everyone that’s come out here and done this,” he said.

In a recent episode of his Disney+ show “Rennervations,” the Marvel star gushed about his daughter to a group of Indian students.

“The most important person in my life is my daughter. She makes me the best version of me. She inspires me to be better,” he said in an exclusive clip obtained by People.

In an interview with Esquire, Renner said his “favorite thing about being a father is the clarity that comes with it.”

“There’s a lot of responsibility in my life and a lot of spinning plates that I have to keep going — my business, my career, and lots of other things — but none of them, come close to my daughter,” he added.

In 2015, Renner appeared on “The Ellen Show” and said becoming a father “is the greatest thing in the world.”

“It changed my perspective on a lot of things. It’s kind of screwed my career in a lot of ways. Because I don’t really care about it so much because I care about her so much,” he revealed.

He continued, “She’s like number one in my life. And now I get to do movies on the side.”

On Jan. 1, Renner was critically injured in a snowplowing accident in Reno, Nevada.
