Black voters at a Chicago barbershop criticized the Democrats for their policies on illegal immigration, arguing they are harming Americans, during a Wednesday segment.

Vice President Kamala Harris is campaigning on solving the border crisis, but 69% of voters believe she supports “open borders,” including the majority of Democrats, according to a late July Hard-Harris survey. The male voters featured on “Fox & Friends” told co-host Lawrence Jones that the administration has allowed illegal immigrants to enter, threatening black Americans’ jobs and benefits.

“All the immigrants came in and … the stuff they have for the Americans, they’re giving it to the immigrants that’s coming in,” one voter said while receiving a haircut. “Trump was trying to keep them out, so to speak, as much as he could. But Biden just like let the gate open.”

Despite his belief about former President Donald Trump handling illegal immigration better, the voter told Jones he plans to vote for Harris because she’s a woman.

“It hurts black people more than anything,” another voter said. “Black men particularly like to work with their hands, they like to drive trucks. Those are jobs that an illegal can come in and underbid him with third world prices and put him out of work.”

“Blacks are struggling more than any other demographic,” the voter said. “We got the highest prison rate, highest high school dropout rate. Highest murder rate. What’s in it for us?”

Others at the barbershop also criticized the Democratic Party and said black Americans must consider other voting options.

A barber told Jones he was raised to vote for Democrats, but that he has not observed them improving life for Americans.

“Everything you’re hearing from the Democrats are already things that they failed at over 30 years,” another voter said.

Women voters told former CNN host Don Lemon they don’t like Harris’ personality and that their lives were better under Trump in a Tuesday video.

“I’m going for Trump. I feel like every time they don’t want somebody who is good for us to win, they throw somebody black in our face thinking that’s going to make us vote for the black person,” a black woman told Lemon. “Kamala was on Biden team and I don’t like Biden. Gas wasn’t this high when Trump was our president. Food wasn’t this high.”
