Actress and singer Olivia Newton-John’s family has recounted having “supernatural” encounters with her since her passing one year ago after she promised she would “show up” after her passing.

Newton-John’s daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, 37, and Newton-John’s widowed husband, John Easterling, 71, told People in an interview that they’ve seen a “little blue orb” appear during several instances this past year. Newton-John passed away on Aug. 8, 2022, after battling breast cancer.

“Two weeks after she passed my phone accidentally took a picture of my dog, and there floating by his head was a little blue orb,” Lattanzi told the outlet, adding the orb was the same color as an aquamarine pendant necklace she now wears. Prior to the necklace being Lattanzi’s, Newton-John used to wear it after receiving it from Easterling.

“Mom and I had talked years back,” Lattanzi said in her interview. “We’d watch these paranormal shows, and I’d say, ‘You gotta show up for me.’ And she was like, ‘I’ll show up as one of those orb things.'”

Easterling told the outlet he had had a similar “supernatural” encounter with his deceased wife while visiting Peru.

While in Peru, Easterling held a private ceremony with his wife’s ashes at the location they said their vows. During this time, Easterling says he “took a picture” to which he spotted a “blue orb” that was right between his eyes.

“It’s been a supernatural year,” Easterling said.

While many people knew Newton-John as being Sandy in “Grease,” to Lattanzi and Easterling, she was the person they loved a lot. Easterling explained to the outlet there was “no replacing her.”

In October, Lattanzi and Easterling will be leading Newton-John’s “Olivia’s Walk for Wellness” in Melbourne, Australia. Proceeds will go towards the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre, according to the outlet.
