Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is renewing her calls for President Joe Biden to be impeached.

“This is a very serious situation,” Greene said about the revelation documents from Biden’s time as vice president were found in an office he used after leaving office in 2017.

She continued, “Vice presidents cannot declassify documents. And the fact that Joe Biden was in possession of classified documents when he was vice president signals that we need to have a serious investigation into this. And there’s a true two-tiered justice system stemming from Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice.”

“I’ll echo again, impeach Biden. And that’s what we need to do,” she added.

Greene has repeatedly introduced articles of impeachment against Biden since she first entered Congress in 2021.

Her comments on Tuesday refer to a report a U.S. attorney is reviewing approximately 10 classified documents found at an office used by Biden.

Biden’s lawyers reportedly contacted the National Archives on Nov. 2, 2022, after they discovered documents from his time as vice president in an office he used while he was an honorary professor at the University of Pennsylvania.

The documents were reportedly retrieved the following day.

The revelation comes months after the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate and recovered classified documents.

While Greene suggested Biden should be impeached, others argued he should be given the benefit of the doubt.

“The View” co-host Joy Behar said, “We all know that Trump is a liar and a thief. We know that. So it’s not that big a jump to say that he obstructed and he lied.”

She continued, “We don’t think that Biden is a liar and a thief, so we give him the benefit of the doubt. That’s partly what’s going on.”

Trump reacted to the news on Truth Social as he wrote, “When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House? These documents were definitely not declassified.”

He also suggested Chinese officials saw the documents in Biden’s office without evidence.
