Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft hopes fans who watch him play can be inspired by his faith to want a relationship with Christ themselves.

Kraft responded to a post on X, formerly Twitter, of Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud saying how he had received positive feedback from “several players” in the NFL regarding his “mentions of God and expressing his love for Jesus Christ.”

“I’m not saying I’m on the same level as CJ, however if a youngster flips on the tv and watches me and decides that maybe someday they want to be just like me; I hope that their dream also brings them closer to our lord and savior,” Kraft wrote. “We have imperfections. But we must keep the faith.”

After the Texans lost to the Baltimore Ravens during Sunday’s playoff game, Stroud not only revealed that he’s had “a lot of great people who have reached out” praising him for his faith but also praised Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh for his faith.

“I always tell people it’s not me, you know what I’m saying? It’s Him,” Stroud said. “It’s nothing I can do to ever repay what the Lord has done in my life, you know, and I don’t want to. I just want to act in what He’s calling me to do. I’m not perfect, I make mistakes every day, but at the same time I know the God I serve is a forgiving and graceful God, and I can just appreciate that.”

Stroud pointed to how Harbaugh had recited 1 Chronicles 29:11 after the Ravens playoff win, pointing out that “there’s a lot of” players and coaches in the NFL who “love the Lord.”

The Texans quarterback made waves after he gave “all glory and praise” to Jesus Christ after the teams 45-14 victory over the Cleveland Browns.
