Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) predicts that former Vice President Joe Biden (D) will win the South Carolina presidential primary on February 29.

In an interview on Fox News on Thursday, Graham predicted that Biden would enjoy a double-digit victory in the Palmetto State.

“He’ll win. I think he’ll win by double-digits,” Graham said, adding, “About 60% of the primary electorate will be African Americans, and Joe is beloved in the community. And he will win decisively. But I think it’s too little too late for Joe. This is Bernie’s race to lose right now.”

Watch the interview below:

Graham’s comments come as a series of new polls found Biden leading the pack in South Carolina after he had poor performances in Iowa and New Hampshire.

After the first two primary contests, analysts argued Biden would need a strong finish in South Carolina to revive his campaign.

However, after he came in second in the Nevada caucuses, Biden declared that his campaign was “alive” and “we’re coming back.”

Recent polls have shown Biden appears to have reclaimed his commanding lead in the state, with an average of a 12-point lead.

However, some have questioned if it is too late for any of the candidates to stop Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) from winning the nomination.

Still, others have predicted that if Biden decisively wins South Carolina, it could give him enough of a boost to stop Sanders win securing enough delegates to win the nomination outright.
