A House Republican did not mince words when he was asked if he had spent time with President Joe Biden.

During a House hearing on Tuesday, Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) insisted, “You’ve got a president — Joe Biden — who is cognitively gone.”

He insisted five doctors would assess the president is “not there” if they examined him.

Norman added, “That’s what America’s concerned about.”

When he yielded his time, Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Pa.) said she disagreed “vehemently” with Norman’s assessment.”

“Have you spent any time with Mr. Biden?” she asked.

Norman responded with three words, “Good God no.”

“‘Good God no,'” Scanlon responded, adding, “You’ve been watching a little much Fox News.”

However, the South Carolina congressman argued he has been watching clips of Biden from events to determine he is “cognitively gone.”

“What can he get off teleprompter and read?” Norman asked.

Scanlon shot back, “I have spent hours with the president without teleprompters.”

“And the level of his conversation is way above this committee right now,” she added.
