George Conway took another shot at President Donald Trump this week when he seemed to nod to his wife, senior White House advisor Kellyanne Conway.

He wrote on Twitter, “I know someone who works for [Donald Trump] who’s said many times that he has a vocabulary of only a couple hundred words.”

This is hardly the first time that George Conway has taken a shot at the president and, at times, Kellyanne Conway has come into those battles.

His tweet was commenting on a remark that Trump made about the death of George Floyd.

According to CNN reporter Daniel Dale, Trump said, “I feel very, very badly. That’s a very shocking sight. That was a very, very bad thing that I saw. I saw it last night and I didn’t like it … what I saw was not good. Very bad.”

Conway has recently teamed up with a number of other prominent old-school conservatives to form “The Lincoln Project” — a group who says that their goal is to”Defeat President Trump and Trumpism at the ballot box.”

The group has endorsed Joe Biden for the presidency, saying, “As America contends with unprecedented loss, we need a leader who can steady the ship, heal our common wounds, and lead us into our next national chapter. Joe Biden has the humanity, empathy and steadiness we need in a leader.”

And The Lincoln Project immediately proved successful in getting under Trump’s skin. When they began releasing advertisements that blistered the president, he tweeted, “I don’t know what Kellyanne did to her deranged loser of a husband, Moonface, but it must have been really bad.”

….because they don’t know how to win, and their so-called Lincoln Project is a disgrace to Honest Abe. I don’t know what Kellyanne did to her deranged loser of a husband, Moonface, but it must have been really bad. John Weaver lost big for Kasich (to me). Crazed Rick Wilson….

Kellyanne Conway has defended Trump from The Lincoln Project’s attacks, and bashed those behind the group, saying, “They’ve all failed. They never succeeded the way I did as campaign manager, and they never got their candidate where my candidate got.”
