Former “Saturday Night Live” cast member and comedian Rob Schneider described the moment he knew the show was “over.”

On Monday, The Blaze’s Glenn Beck posted a clip from his conversation with Schneider.

During the interview, Schneider suggested that “some comedy shows” seem to be attempting to indoctrinate people.

Beck joked, “Not ‘Saturday Night Live.'”

Schneider responded, “I hate to crap on my old show.”

The comedian recalled a moment during the show in 2016 when Kate McKinnon as Hillary Clinton sang the song “Hallelujah.”

Schneider added, “I literally prayed, ‘Please have a joke at the end. Don’t do this. Please don’t go down there.’ And there was no joke at the end, and I went, ‘It’s over. It’s over. It’s not gonna come back.’”

Commenting on other late-night shows, Schneider told Beck, “You can take the comedic indoctrination process happening with each of the late-night hosts, and you could exchange them with each other. That’s how you know it’s not interesting anymore.”

Schneider previously took aim at the show.

In 2018, he expressed disappointment with actor Alec Baldwin’s impressions of former President Donald Trump.

“I don’t find his impression to be comical,” Schneider said, as Variety reported.

He added, “Because, like I said, I know the way his politics lean and it spoils any surprise. There’s no possible surprise. He so clearly hates the man he’s playing.”

In 2013, Schneider announced he would be making the switch from the Democratic to Republican Party.

“The state of California is a mess, and the super majority of Democrats is not working. I’ve been a lifelong Democrat and I have to switch over because it no longer serves the people of this great state,” Schneider said.
