Brooklyn Nets player Kevin Durant revealed that he was one of four team members who had tested positive for coronavirus.

The Nets announced that four players had tested positive but did not reveal which players they were. The team said only one was exhibiting symptoms.

Durant told The Athletic that he was not experiencing symptoms but was one of the four who had tested positive for the virus.

“Everyone be careful, take care of yourself, and quarantine. We’re going to get through this,” Durant said.

The team said in a statement that the players were isolated, and that it was working to ensure they receive the” best care possible.”

“All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health, and maintain constant communication with team medical staff. The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organization, and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible.”

Durant’s disclosure comes a day after actor Idris Elba revealed that he tested positive for the virus, as IJR has previously reported.

According to Johns Hopkins University, there are currently 196,460 cases of the virus worldwide, with 5,894 cases in the United States.
