A new Disney+ reboot show, “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder,” received backlash after promoting a rap about “systemic prejudice, racism, and white supremacy.”

In a clip from the show that was shared by City Journal writer Christopher F. Rufo on Twitter, the children in the cartoon address slavery in America.

“This country was built on slavery, which means slaves built this country,” the children chanted.

They added America has still not atoned for the white supremacy that it was “founded with.”

“The descendants of slaves continue to build it. Slaves built this country and we the descendants of slaves in America have earned reparations for their suffering and continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in a systemic prejudice, racism and white supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for,” the children said in response to Juneteeth.

According to the NAACP, “Reparations would involve a national apology, rights to the cannabis industry, financial payment, social service benefits, and land grants to every descendant of an enslaved African American and Black person a descendant of those living in the United States including during American slavery until the Jim Crow era. 1965.”

The rap continued, “We made your families rich. From the southern plantation heirs to the northern bankers to the New England ship owners, the founding fathers, former presidents, current senators, the Illuminati, the New World Order.”

They also implied former President Abraham Lincoln did not free the slaves in 1863 when he issued the Emancipation Proclamation, announcing, “that all persons held as slaves” within the rebellious areas “are, and henceforward shall be free.”

“Emancipation is not freedom,” they added.

Throughout the rap, they continued to chant, “Slaves built this country.”

The children ended their rap by proclaiming they are “taking their freedom.”

Rufo captioned the clip, “This Disney clip is pure critical race theory, including the insane conspiracy theory that Lincoln did not free the slaves.”

Twitter account End Wokeness tweeted the clip was “blatant anti-white propaganda.”

Melissa Tate, writer of the book “Choice Privilege,” which is a “rebuttal to critical race theory,” agreed with Rufo’s tweet.

“Many Black people have no idea they are being used as pawns by the left for a cultural Marxist agenda to over throw America, a country where blacks people have the highest standard of living. If the left succeeds, blacks & whites alike will SUFFER when communism reigns,” she wrote.
