A Democratic Senate hopeful is facing criticism over his description of Republicans’ “culture identity.”

On Wednesday, conservative X user Greg Price shared a video of Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) speaking at an event.

“Weapons have become more of a cultural thing, right?” Gallego said.

He added, “If you are a Republican, you have to have a bunch of guns, some jacked-up truck with those little cow nuts hanging in the back. That’s your cultural identity now.”

It suits you,” wrote failed Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake.
