Donald Trump Jr. celebrated Easter by posting a bizarre photo to his Instagram.

The photo shows what appears to be three Easter bunnies wearing camouflage with two carrying guns.

The caption on the photo reads “come and take it.”

Donald Trump Jr. added a hashtag, saying, “Easter.”

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) reacted to the post, saying, “I get that the whole point of this is to troll and get Democrats to go crazy, but in all honesty it’s not a coincidence that violence in America – often off the wall, hair trigger violence – has skyrocketed since the Trumps came to dominate political debate in America.”

Three mass shootings took place over the Easter holiday weekend, as The Associated Press reported.

The two shootings in South Carolina and one in Pittsburgh left at least 31 people injured.

Two male youths were killed in Pittsburgh.

The shootings come just days after President Joe Biden announced a new gun regulation.

CNN reported the regulation on ghost guns “will address a critical gap in the government’s ability to track them by requiring background checks before purchase and serial numbers on some of the components.”

According to CBS News, a ghost gun is an “unregistered and untraceable homemade” weapon “that can be made with a 3D printer or assembled from a kit.”

Biden brought along a ghost gun kit while delivering remarks.

“If you buy a couch you have to assemble, it’s still a couch. If you order a package like this one over here that includes that parts that you need and directs the assembly of a functioning firearm, you bought a gun,” he said.

Biden continued, “It doesn’t take very long. Anyone can order it in the mail.”

Additionally, the president tapped Steve Dettelbach, a former U.S. attorney from Ohio, as his nominee to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

“This mission of this agency isn’t controversial — it’s public safety,” Biden said.
