Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) lost her primary and conservatives are celebrating.

On Tuesday, Cheney was defeated by Harriet Hageman in the Wyoming Republican primary.

Several conservatives took to Twitter to celebrate her loss.

Conservative commentator Kurt Schlichter tweeted, “Cheney is a loser. She was rejected and it’s because she sucks.”

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky) reacted, saying, “Few people in Washington have been as wrong and damaging on foreign policy as Liz Cheney.”

He added, “Congratulations to [Hageman for WY] on her victory tonight. I look forward to working with an advocate for liberty as the next Congresswoman from Wyoming. Bye Liz.”

Liz Cheney was the NUMBER 3 Republican until January 6.

Then she made it her mission to take down the MAGA movement.

The people of Wyoming have spoken:

MAGA is the wave of the future!

There has never been an endorsement more powerful than the Trump endorsement.

Congratulations to Trump-Endorsed @HagemanforWY on her massive win against America Last @Liz_Cheney.

I demand a recount of the Wyoming election. Not because I think Liz Cheney did better but because I want to see her get her ass kicked again.

Former President Donald Trump also celebrated her loss, as IJR reported.

β€œThis is a wonderful result for America, and a complete rebuke of the Unselect Committee of political Hacks and Thugs,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

He added, “Liz Cheney should be ashamed of herself, the way she acted, and her spiteful, sanctimonious words and actions towards others. Now she can finally disappear into the depths of political oblivion where, I am sure, she will be much happier than she is right now. Thank you WYOMING!”

Cheney spoke with NBC’s “Today Show” Wednesday morning about what is next for her.

“I will do whatever it takes to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office,” she said.

Cheney was asked if she would run for president in 2024.

She proceeded to tell the network that she would make that decision “in the coming months.”

Additionally, Cheney suggested that defeating Trump “is going to require a broad and united front of Republicans, Democrats and independents. And that’s what I intend to be part of.”
