Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is blasting freshman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) after it came to light that she appeared to show support for executing top Democrats on social media in the years before she took office.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Clinton wrote, “This woman should be on a watch list. Not in Congress.”

The CNN’s KFile highlighted that in January 2019, Greene liked a post arguing that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) should get “a bullet to the head.”

In a comment on a separate post suggesting the execution of Clinton and former President Barack Obama, Greene wrote, “Stage is being set. Players are being put in place. We must be patient. This must be done perfectly, or liberal judges would let them off.”

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s spokesman told Axios that Greene’s comments were “deeply disturbing” and said the California lawmaker plans to “have a conversation with the Congresswoman about them.”

“Fake News CNN is writing yet another hit piece on me focused on my time before running for political office,” Greene wrote in a tweet addressing the CNN story.

She added, “I will never back down to the enemy of the American people, and neither should you.”

“Many posts have been shared. Some did not represent my views. Especially the ones that CNN is about to spread across the internet. They are taking old Facebook posts from random users to try to cancel me and silence my voice.”

Also, on Wednesday, a video surfaced of Greene accosting David Hogg — who became a gun control advocate after surviving the 2018 massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida — as she followed him and asked how he got meetings with lawmakers.

She also called Hogg a “coward” in the video.
