Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is following a trend of sharing dubious claims about portions of the country baking in record-breaking temperatures.

On Tuesday, Clinton shared a tweet that claimed, “MAGA Republicans are pouring fuel on the climate crisis fire.”

It included a graphic that featured several headlines about record-breaking temperatures across the country.

“Hot enough for you?” Clinton asked before adding, “Thank a MAGA Republican.”

Alternatively, she suggested, “Or better yet, vote them out of office.”

Hot enough for you?

Thank a MAGA Republican.

Or better yet, vote them out of office. https://t.co/0MFC6rPq6o

“They are now directly blaming ‘MAGA Republicans’ for the temperature outside. The Democrat Party has fallen fully into a state of primitive superstition. They have all the scientific credibility of an Aztec priest in the year 1450,” tweeted The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh.

Earlier this month, we were informed by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) the earth broke a 120,000-year record for the hottest day ever.

So were MAGA Republicans around back then causing record temperatures?

This is not to rule out the effects humans have on a warming climate. But the claim one group — that only emerged in one political party less than a decade ago — in one country is responsible for record heat is ridiculous.

Do you want to know an easy test to disprove her claim? Americans elected a Democratic president and Democratic majorities in the House and Senate in 2020, and we still have record-setting temperatures.
