Savannah Chrisley and Chase Chrisley, children of Todd and Julie Chrisley, revealed what their parents are facing while in prison.

On the July 25 episode of Savannah Chrisley’s podcast “Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley,” Chase Chrisley, 27, sat down with his sister to discuss their parents living in “inhumane conditions.”

“It’s a nightmare,” he said in response to Savannah Chrisley, 25, asking him what he witnessed while visiting their father in prison in Florida.

Chase Chrisley revealed both of his parents now have “no air conditioning” while living in states where temperatures are over 100 degrees. Julie Chrisley is imprisoned in Kentucky.

Savannah Chrisley mentioned that her mother “has rattlesnakes just casually slithering on the floor in front of her.” However, her brother clarified that they were not rattlesnakes but “were poisonous snakes.”

“I don’t care if you killed somebody if you’re in a government facility, you should have air conditioning,” he said, while his sister added that “air conditioning is the least of it.”

Furthermore, Savannah Chrisley said their parents have to deal with “black mold, asbestos” and “lead-based paint.”

The pair also spoke about others’ lack of sympathy toward what their parents are facing in prison.

“So when your loved one’s sitting there, literally having a heat stroke and ending up in a hospital or not being fed properly (it pisses you off),” they shared.

In the past, Savannah Chrisley has spoken candidly about her parents’ hardships during their prison stints.

“My mom’s in a facility that has no air, but yet, there are service dogs for the prison that are in a heated and cooled building because it’s inhumane for them not to have air,” she shared during the Feb. 14 episode of her podcast.

In June 2022, Todd and Julie Chrisley were convicted of conspiring to defraud Atlanta banks.

On Jan. 17, they reported to prison to serve out their combined 19-year prison sentences.
