The Chrisley family will be coming returning to reality television.
According to a press release from Scout Productions obtained exclusively by People, the Chrisley family will return in an upcoming series that will be a “continuation of their story.” Viewers can see them as “they truly are — just as dynamically entertaining and naturally hilarious as ever, but not shying away from authentic drama and grit that makes them just as relatable as ever.”
Savannah Chrisley, the daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley, is excited about partnering with the media company.
“We couldn’t have found better partners in Scout Productions. Their ability to balance popular culture and empathy through authentic storytelling is unrivaled and I know they’re going to find the right home for this next chapter of our lives,” she said, adding, “We’re so happy to be back.”
Rob Eric, chief creative officer of Scout Productions, spoke about working with the Chrisley family, whom he referred to as “nothing short of reality royalty,” for “their much-anticipated return to TV is beyond thrilling.”
“They’re ready to bring their signature heart and quirk back to the fans and we look forward to telling their story,” he shared.
In May, Savannah Chrisley, 26, gave insight into what fans can expect from the new show amid her parents’ prison stint on an episode of her podcast Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley.
“You’re gonna have all the uncomfortable conversations. You are going to see how we’re navigating as a family through having two parents that are incarcerated,” she said.
She added, “You’re gonna see how my grandparents are dealing with things, how Chase and I are dealing with things, him and the wedding process, how I do not necessarily agree with it.”
On the Feb. 21 episode of her podcast, Savannah Chrisley spoke to her grandmother, Nanny Faye, about the show potentially being in the works.
“Well, you do know, we’re talking to a few production companies about doing another show,” she disclosed.
Savannah Chrisley later added, “There are tons of production companies that have reached out and networks that want to do a show.”
