Singer Cher is weighing in on politics and her thoughts on President-elect Joe Biden.

Speaking with CNN in an interview, Cher touched on the recent presidential election.

Cher, who has known Biden for 15 years, compared the former vice president to former President Jimmy Carter during her interview. She said both Biden and Carter desire to “help the American people.”

She also said of Biden, offering him praise, “I adore him, I love him.”

“And I am sorry that they are trying to hogtie him so that he can’t do anything, because he’s such a great man [with a] great heart. He wants to do so many things, and they’re all good,” she added.

Cher also declared, “When Joe says it, I think by hook or by crook, he’s going to get it done.”

The singer made her endorsement of Biden early on this year. She also campaigned for Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election.
