Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson is welcoming former CNN host Don Lemon to the world of independent media. On Tuesday, Lemon announced on X that he was starting his own media company. "I've heard you... and today I am back, bigger, bolder, freer! My new media company's first project is The Don Lemon Show. It will be available to everyone, easily, whenever and wherever you want it, streaming on the platforms where the conversations are happening," he wrote. Lemon explained those interested can "find it first on X, the biggest space for free speech in the world." "I know now more than ever that we need a place for honest debate and discussion without the hall monitors. This is just the beginning so stay tuned," he added. https://twitter.com/donlemon/status/1744759335081910318 Last year, Lemon said he was "terminated" by CNN in April 2023 following his controversial time as a co-anchor for the network's morning show. In December, he revealed he had "cut the cord" on corporate media and had developed "an extensive, eclectic streaming palate now.” Some of the streaming shows Lemon said he watches include "The Ben Shapiro Show." After Lemon announced his new media company, Carlson shared his post and wrote, "Congratulations. It’s a new world. Welcome." https://twitter.com/TuckerCarlson/status/1744771161890722127 Carlson, who also launched his own media company, was fired from Fox News the same day news broke of Lemon's departure from CNN.
