Daily Wire podcast host Candace Owens slammed former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley for becoming “shrill and hysterical” during the third Republican presidential debate.

“Women are more emotional than men,” Owens wrote in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Nikki became shrill and hysterical last night. Vivek worked her up and she couldn’t regain control.”

Owens’ comment comes after Haley and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy had several heated exchanges during the Wednesday night debate.

In one instance, Ramaswamy called out Haley for not answering a question about TikTok and banning the video app. Ramaswamy points out how Haley criticized him for using the app, though her daughter allegedly uses TikTok.

“In the last debate, she made fun of me for actually joining TikTok while her own daughter was actually using the app for a long time,” Ramaswamy said. “So, you might want to take care of your family first.”

Haley angrily responded to Ramaswamy by instructing him to, “leave” her daughter out of his voice and he tries to explain that the “next generation of Americans are using” the app.

“You’re just scum,” Haley adds as he continues to speak.

Earlier in the debate, Ramaswamy took aim at Haley’s career, labeling her as “Dick Cheney in three-inch heels.”

“Do you want a leader from a different generation who’s going to put this country first? Or do you want Dick Cheney in three-inch heels?” Ramaswamy asked.

Haley went on to correct Ramaswamy, pointing out they were “5-inch heels.”

“The second thing I would say is I wear heels and they’re not for a fashion statement,” Haley added. “They’re for ammunition.”

During the first two debates, Ramaswamy and Haley traded barbs with each other. In the second debate, Haley seemingly obliterated Ramaswamy by informing him that every time she hears him speak, she feels “a little bit dumber.”

In the first debate, Haley informed Ramaswamy that he had “no foreign policy experience.”
