Comedian Bob Saget’s widow, Kelly Rizzo, revealed she asked his daughters for their approval on her joining a military show.

In an exclusive interview with People, Rizzo, 44, revealed how Saget’s three daughters, Aubrey, 36, Lara, 33, and Jennifer, 30, felt about her joining Fox’s “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.”

“I’m like, ‘You guys are OK with me doing this right?’ And they’re like, ‘Yeah, it looks cool,'” she shared.

Rizzo also asked them whether they think her late husband would approve of her partaking in the show.

“And I was like, ‘You think your dad would be OK with me doing this? Right?’ And they’re like, ‘Yeah, we think he’d be proud,'” she said.

His daughters, whom she remained close to following Saget’s death, also told her, “He’d think you’re crazy, but we think he’d be proud.”

Rizzo said receiving their “vote of confidence” helped her “make the decision.”

According to the show’s synopsis, 16 celebrities will compete against one another and “face the harshest of environments that simulate the highly classified selection process, pushing themselves in the ultimate test of their physical, mental and emotional resilience and revealing the celebrities’ deepest and truest character.”

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Rizzo shared what she believes her late husband would think about her joining the show.

“He would have thought I was crazy. I mean, like, ‘What are you doing?’ Because there is no way he would ever have done anything like this. It just would have been way too out of his comfort zone,” she said.

Rizzo continued, “This was less than a five-star hotel experience. Sleeping on a military green Army cot… he would have been like, ‘I can’t ever see myself doing this. How on Earth are you doing this?'”

On Jan. 9, 2022, in Orlando, Florida, the “Full House” star was found dead in his hotel room. He was 65.
