President Joe Biden is expressing his appreciation for frontline and essential workers in his message to Americans on the Fourth of July.

“This Fourth of July, America is back. We’re headed into a summer of joy – of freedom – thanks to the millions of Americans who stepped up to get vaccinated. To the frontline and essential workers who have made this day possible: thank you,” Biden tweeted on Sunday.

He included a video showing a previous message he delivered to the nation about getting vaccinated.

“We need everyone to get vaccinated. If we do this together, by July the 4th, there’s a good chance you, your families, and your friends will be able to celebrate Independence Day. That will make this Independence Day something truly special,” Biden said on March 11.

He continued, “This Fourth of July, America is back.”
