President Joe Biden struggled to congratulate Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) during his speech at the State of the Union address.
During his address Tuesday night, Biden said, “Congratulations to Chuck Schumer, another, uh, you know, another term as Senate Minori–.”
He continued, “You know, I think you, uh, only this time you have a slightly bigger majority, Mr. Leader. You’re the Majority Leader.”

Schumer made headlines during last year’s State of the Union address after clapping a bit early for Biden.
“Unlike the [$2 trillion] tax cut passed in the previous administration that benefited the top 1 percent of Americans,” Biden said of when speaking of his predecessor former President Donald Trump.
Schumer then began to clap before stopping himself.
Biden added, “The American rescue plan helped rescue people and left no one behind.”

Biden’s stumble during the address has not been the only notable moment from the evening.
