There are just 13 days left until Election Day, and polls appear to show that Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is leading.

Still, the Biden campaign is warning voters against becoming complacent in the final stretch of the campaign season.

Dr. Jill Biden, the wife of the former vice president, told ABC’s “The View” on Wednesday, “I see a lot of good energy out there. I see a lot of crowds.”

She noted that during a drive-in campaign event in Michigan, there were about 250 cars there. She continued, “I feel a lot of positive energy, but we’re not taking anything for granted, and I hope that your viewers know that.”

Biden campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon warned in a memo to supporters on Saturday, “The very searing truth is that Donald Trump can still win this race, and every indication we have shows that this thing is going to come down to the wire.”

She continued, “The reality is that this race is far closer than some of the punditry we’re seeing on Twitter and on TV would suggest.”

Finally, she said, “In the key battleground states where this election will be decided, we remain neck and neck with Donald Trump.”

While the Biden campaign urged supporters against complacency, President Donald Trump has been sounding more optimistic about his electoral prospects. In a call with his campaign staff this week, the president said, “We’re going to win. I wouldn’t have told you that maybe two or three weeks ago.”

“If [we] had the election today, I think we’d win. … Today is the best single day that I’ve felt on either campaign,” he added.

Still, polls show Biden leading Trump is several key battleground states that the president would need to win to secure a second term in the White House.

According to RealClearPolitics, Biden leads Trump in Florida by an average of 1.6 points, in North Carolina by 2.3 points, in Arizona by 2.8 points, in Pennsylvania 3.7 points, and in Georgia by 1.2 points.

Additionally, Biden leads Trump nationally by an average of 7.9 points.
