Biden Mixes Up Years With Claim of What His Admin Will Do ‘By 2020’

President Joe Biden appeared to mix up his years, claiming that by 2020 his administration "will have conserved 30% of all the lands and water" in the United States as part of an ongoing effort to tackle climate control.

The unusual claim from Biden was made during his visit to Lucy Evans Baylands Nature Interpretive Center and Preserve in Palo Alto, California, alongside California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), according to Fox News .

During the visit, Biden highlighted his administration's efforts to combat the climate crisis.

"And maybe most important," Biden said on Monday. "I've committed that by 2020, we will have conserved 30% of all the lands and waters in the United States has jurisdiction over and simultaneously reduced emissions to blunt climate impact."

A NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll from May 23 shows that 62% of Americans — 84% of Republicans, 69% of Independents, and 36% of Democrats — think that Biden's "mental fitness to be president is a real concern."
