President Joe Biden’s approval ratings are at his lowest marks, as the majority of those polled say his administration is “not competent.”

Biden received his lowest numbers across the board, per a poll released by Quinnipiac University on Wednesday.

“Battered on trust, doubted on leadership, and challenged on overall competency, President Biden is being hammered on all sides as his approval rating continues its downward slide to a number not seen since the tough scrutiny of the Trump administration,” Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy said.

According to the poll, 53% disapprove of his job performance, while he only received a positive 38% job approval rating. This is his lowest score since taking office.

Other than one key issue, Biden received double digit negative scores. Check out the results of the poll:

  • “The response to the coronavirus: 48 percent approve, while 50 percent disapprove;
  • the economy: 39 percent approve, while 55 percent disapprove;
  • his job as Commander in Chief of the U.S. military: 37 percent approve, while 58 percent disapprove;
  • taxes: 37 percent approve, while 54 percent disapprove;
  • foreign policy: 34 percent approve, while 58 percent disapprove;
  • immigration issues: 25 percent approve, while 67 percent disapprove;
  • the situation at the Mexican border: 23 percent approve, while 67 percent disapprove.”

Additionally, 55% say the Biden administration is “not competent in running the government.”

The poll was conducted Oct. 1-4 with 1,326 U.S. adults.

According to FiveThirtyEight’s tracker for Biden’s approval rating, 48.8% disapprove while 44.1% approve, as of Wednesday. Per FiveThirtyEight, at this point in former President Donald Trump’s presidency, he received a negative 56.4% job approval rating.

However, Biden’s disapproval rating is higher than former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and several others at this point in their presidencies, according to FiveThirtyEight’s tracker.

As FiveThirtyEight’s Nathaniel Rakich writes, “We’re now more than a month removed from Biden’s difficult August, and there have been no signs of a rebound in his approval rating. … Biden’s approval rating has failed to improve even as Afghanistan has faded from the headlines.”

“For now at least, Biden has a lower approval rating at this point in his term than all but two presidents since 1945, so if he’s going to regain his popularity, he’s got an unusually big hole to dig himself out of,” Rakich adds.
