Former Vice President Joe Biden’s accuser, Tara Reade, is ripping into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for endorsing him during a women’s town hall on Tuesday.

“I voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. I voted for her in the primary. I’m a lifelong Democrat,” Reade told Fox News, adding, “But yet, what I see now is someone enabling a sexual predator, and it was my former boss, Joe Biden, who raped me.”

She continued, “Hillary Clinton has a history of enabling powerful men to cover up their sexual predatory behaviors and their inappropriate sexual misconduct. We don’t need that for this country. We don’t need that for our new generation coming up that wants institutional rape culture to change.”

“I will not be smeared, dismissed or ignored. I stand in truth, and I will keep speaking out,” she added.

Reade made her sexual assault accusations public in March, and the Biden campaign has denied them, “Such claims should also be diligently reviewed by an independent press. What is clear about this claim: it is untrue.”

After Reade shared her story, many accused Democrats and media outlets of a double-standard compared to the allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. They have suggested that the media has paid far less attention to the accusations against Biden then those made against Kavanaugh.

“At the very least it’s pretty obvious that the same people who were outraged about allegations — unproven allegations against Justice Kavanaugh when he was in high school seemed to have little or no interest,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said.

Additionally, after Reade’s former neighbor said she remembers hearing about the alleged assault a few years after it supposedly occurred, actress Alyssa Milano said Reade’s allegations should be heard.

She said, “I want Tara, like every other survivor, to have the space to be heard and seen without being used as fodder. I hear and see you, Tara.”

And on Tuesday, many noted that Biden was not asked about the allegations during his event with Clinton.
