Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) was harassed by pro-Palestinian protesters who demanded she accuse Israel of carrying out a genocide -- and she was not happy about it. On Monday, video surfaced of Ocasio-Cortez leaving a theater as protesters followed her. "You refused to call it a genocide," a man said of Israel's actions in Gaza. The congresswoman whipped around, and said, "I need you to understand that this is not OK." And she continued walking, the protesters followed her with the man saying, "It's not OK that there's a genocide actively happening and you're not against it." "You're lying!" Ocasio-Cortez shot back. Watch the video below: https://twitter.com/yashar/status/1764832823377289506 Meanwhile, a woman was heard saying, "Just say it's a genocide! Just say it! Over 30,000 people are dead, AOC! Just say the word, that's it, that's all we want you to say!" Eventually, Ocasio-Cortez turned around and insisted, "You're gonna cut it, and you're gonna cut this, and you're gonna clip this so that it's completely out of context. I already said that it was. And y'all are just going to pretend that it wasn't over and over again." "It's f***ed up man!" she continued. "And you're not these people, you're not helping them! You're not helping them!" Ocasio-Cortez has been a vocal critic of Israel's war against Hamas and accused it of committing war crimes as after the Oct. 7 massacre.
