Actor Alec Baldwin is sharing if he feels guilty about the fatal shooting that occurred on the movie set of “Rust.”

Asked if he feels guilty about the shooting death, Baldwin told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, “No, no.”

“I feel that someone is responsible for what happened, and I can’t say who that is, but I know it’s not me,” he added.

Baldwin then said, “If I felt that I was responsible, I might have killed myself.”

Baldwin was practicing drawing a prop firearm on the movie set in late October. The gun was discharged, which resulted in the death of the director of photography Halyna Hutchins and wounded director Joel Souza.

“On Oct. 21, Mr. Baldwin was sitting in a church pew, rehearsing a scene that involved ‘cross drawing’ a revolver and pointing it toward the camera lens, Joel Souza, the film’s director, told a detective investigating the shooting, according to court papers,” The New York Times reported.

It was previously reported that the actor was told the prop firearm was “cold.”

Baldwin also told Stephanopoulos he was told the gun was “cold,” meaning “there was nothing in there.”

He called it a “completely incidental shot.”

“I let go of the hammer and the gun goes off,” the actor explained, before adding, “The trigger wasn’t pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger.”

Baldwin broke down into tears when speaking about Hutchins and how she was “someone who was loved by everyone who worked with and liked by everyone worked with and admired. … by everyone who worked with her.”

EXCLUSIVE: Asked by @GStephanopoulos how a real bullet got on the "Rust" set, Alec Baldwin says: “I have no idea. Someone put a live bullet in a gun. A bullet that wasn’t even supposed to be on the property.” #BaldwinABChttps://t.co/b9Y1VQziLq pic.twitter.com/EK2HACnbx6

“There is only question to be resolved, only one, and that is where did the live round come from?” Baldwin said.

The actor said he does not believe he will be criminally charged.

The movie set shooting is under investigation.
