A Republican lawmaker is taking a swipe at President Donald Trump after he posted a 46-minute factually inaccurate speech this week.

After the president posted a clip of his speech, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) tweeted, “Time to delete your account.”

The clip that Trump tweeted was the introduction of his speech in which he told viewers, “This may be the most important speech I’ve ever made. I want to provide an update on our ongoing efforts to expose the tremendous voter fraud and irregularities which took place during the ridiculously long November 3rd elections.”

Kinzinger, who came into Congress with the massive Republican pick-ups in 2010, has frequently broken with Trump. And he has recently become more outspoken about those positions.

He has been frequently critical of the president’s debunked claims that the election was rigged against him. The congressman accused Trump of “flooding the zone with baseless conspiracies again.”

The @FBI did not rig the election. If you find yourself believing they did, please stop, and say it out loud, and you will realize how silly it sounds. @realDonaldTrump simply flooding the zone with baseless conspiracies again.

After the president’s legal team held a press conference that was amplified by the GOP’s Twitter account, Kinzinger tweeted, “Now would be a great time to denounce this… Our party needs to be better than giving credence to these insane conspiracy theories.”

The Illinois congressman criticized the president after Trump said that he will veto the National Defense Authorization Act — the annual bill that funds the military budget — if there is no language in the bill to eliminate Section 230. The president has frequently attacked Section 230, which is a much-criticized statute that acts to protect social media companies.

After the president’s Twitter proclamation, Kinzinger shot back, “I will vote to override. Because it’s really not about you.”

Kinzinger was also one of the Republican lawmakers who called for answers from the White House after reports alleged that the Russians were putting bounties on the heads of American soldiers. Other powerful Republicans Reps. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) and Liz Cheney (R-Wy.) both joined Kinzinger in that stance.
