Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett smeared Republicans as fundamentally “violent” during a Tuesday podcast, while dismissing left-wing extremism.

Crockett has quickly become a prominent House Democrat with her racially-charged rants and incendiary anti-Republican rhetoric, including calling wheelchair-bound Texas Gov. Greg Abbott “Governor Hot Wheels.” On “American Fever Dream,” Crockett painted Republicans as the party of racist terrorists while minimizing Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests and not mentioning any other left-wing violence.

WATCH:

“They try to act like, ‘Oh, political violence, it’s the Democrats and it’s the liberals,’ and it’s like, actually, actually, actually — I mean, I’m not gon’ say that like a left-leaning person cannot be violent, ’cause that would be like crazy to say that somebody can’t be,” Crockett. “But baby, baby, y’all got the white supremacists galore, okay? Like all of ’em. You got the Proud Boys, you got the neo-Nazis, you have people that literally should be classified as domestic terrorists, because a lot of times that is what they are doing — they’re engaging in domestic terrorism.”

“And guess what? They all align with your side, including the KKK. So like, I mean, this is who aligns with that. So like, inherently in like who you are, y’all are violent. And most of your violence has to do with people that’s got a little bit of melanin. But nevertheless, like, y’all are a violent group,” she continued. “Like, you attract violent actors. And like, I’m sorry, I know they tried to make Black Lives Matter out to be the most violent — ‘Oh, what about Black Lives Matter?’ No, no, no. So that’s the thing — like, they try to pretend like that.”

Riots after George Floyd’s May 2020 death in police custody left at least 24 dead and caused nearly $1 billion in property damage. An Oregon court ordered alleged Antifa members to pay journalist Andy Ngo $300,000 after attacking him at a June 29, 2019, protest.

Moreover, Crockett neglected to mention vandalism directed at Elon Musk’s Tesla, which spiked due to the CEO’s involvement with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

President Donald Trump also faced two assassination attempts during the 2024 presidential campaign. The second occurred on Sept. 15 while Trump was playing a round of golf in Florida. Ryan Wesley Routh, who was charged with the Florida attempt, declared his intent for Trump’s death in a letter, according to legal filings.

One of Routh’s social media posts mirrored former Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Joe Biden’s repeated claim that “democracy is on the ballot,” according to reports.

CNN reporter Donie O’Sullivan also claimed in April that left-wing violence was not comparable to the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot or other violence from the “extreme right.”
