President Donald Trump raised over $239 million for his 2025 presidential inauguration, smashing previous inaugural fundraising records.

The record-breaking total, disclosed by Trump’s presidential inaugural committee in a filing with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on Sunday, surpassed the record sum of nearly $107 million Trump raised for his 2017 inauguration. The massive amount raised by Trump’s presidential inaugural committee is more than double the amount former President Joe Biden raised when he raked in nearly $62 million for his inauguration in 2021, which was scaled back due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.

The largest contribution to the inaugural committee was a $5 million donation from American food and poultry company Pilgrim’s Pride, according to the FEC filing.

Several major technology companies contributed to the president’s inauguration fund, including California-based chipmaker Nvidia, which donated $1 million, the FEC filing shows. Nvidia refers to itself as a “World Leader in Artificial Intelligence Computing.”

Other technology giants, including Amazon and Meta, previously announced that they were planning to donate $1 million to Trump’s 2025 inauguration fund.

An anonymous source close to Trump’s fundraising previously told CNN that excess donations from Trump’s inaugural fund are expected to be directed toward his future presidential library.

Notably, a variety of major businesses alongside foreign countries have pledged to invest more in the U.S. over the next several years following Trump’s 2024 election victory.

The Trump-Vance Inaugural Committee could not immediately be reached for comment.
