Brutal Poll Reveals Just One-Third of Voters Believe Biden Has the Physical and Mental Stamina to Be President

The hits just keep coming for President Joe Biden.

On Thursday, a Monmouth University poll found Biden statistically tied in a match-up with former President Donald Trump.

But that wasn’t the worst part. The poll found a massive erosion in the number of voters who believe the 46th president has the physical and mental stamina for the job.

According to the survey, 32% of voters say Biden has the stamina for the job.

Only 2% of Republicans and 20% of independents say the same, while 72% of Democrats agree.

That third of Americans who believe Biden has the stamina from the job represents a 20 point drop from 2020 when 52% of voters said the same.

By contrasts, 51% of voters said they believe Trump has the physical and mental stamina, including 90% of Republicans, 57% of independents, and 12% of Democrats.

That represents a six point increase from 2020.

The poll was conducted Feb. 8-12 and after Special Counsel Robert Hur released his report on his investigation into Biden’s handling of classified documents.

Hur declined to charge the president, but offered several shocking claims in his report about the president’s memory, including that he did not remember “even within several years, when his son Beau died.”

Biden and his allies lashed out at Hur for including that claim about his memory, with the president lashing out at the special counsel for reportedly bringing up his son’s death.

However, NBC News reports the it was Biden who mentioned his Beau Biden — and then failed to recall the year when he died.

Biden and his supporters can scream all they want about the Hur report and claim he was a “Trumper.”

But the fact of the matter is, the president has given the public plenty reason to doubt his physical and mental stamina. And most of the time, it comes when he tries to show off his supposed vigor.

Still, that polls show this race is razor thin — despite the fact that pretty much everyone who watches Biden does so while holding their breath — should be a warning sign to Republicans about the 2024 election. If you’re not blowing the president out of the water in the polls in these circumstances, perhaps your messaging and front runner for the Republican nomination are not the best choices.
