President Joe Biden is defending his memory after a shocking report by Special Counsel Robert Hur.

On Thursday, Hur released a report about his investigation into the president’s handling of classified documents. The report noted that there were no charges recommended, but provided shocking claims about the limitation of Biden’s memory — including that he did not know when he was vice president.

Hours later, the president delivered remarks in response to the report.

Fox News’ Peter Doocy asked, “How bad is your memory? Can you continue as president?”

“My memory is so bad I let you speak…my memory is fine,” Biden responded.

Meanwhile, another reporter said, “Many American people have been watching and they have expressed concerns about your age…”

“That is your judgment! That is your judgment! That is not the judgment of the press,” Biden responded.

But moments later, Biden mixed up the countries of Egypt and Mexico.

When asked about Israel’s war against Hamas, the president said, “The conduct of the response [to the Oct. 7 attack] in the Gaza Strip has been over the top.”

“As you know, initially the president of Mexico — Sisi — did not want to open up the gate to allow humanitarian material to get in. I talked to him. I convinced him to open the gate,” Biden added.

Biden appeared to be referring to Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who is the president of Egypt — not Mexico.
