President Joe Biden was slammed for apparently neglecting of the people affected by the East Palestine train derailment.

322 days ago, Biden promised he'd visit East Palestine, Ohio, "at some point."

138 days ago, Biden said he hadn't yet because "there's a lot going on."

RNC Research posted a video of Biden promising to visit East Palestine, Ohio, followed by clips of White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stating again and again for months that there were no plans to visit East Palestine.

The Republican National Committee group wrote, “322 days ago, Biden promised he’d visit East Palestine, Ohio, ‘at some point.’”

“138 days ago, Biden said he hadn’t yet because ‘there’s a lot going on,’” they added.

Then, they concluded, “He’s had time for vacation, ice cream, and doing nothing for days on end — but not East Palestine.”

According to the New York Post, Biden spent 37% of last year on vacation in Delaware. He ventured to Camp David and other favorite spots a total of 138 days, over a third of the entire year, while not having visited the people of East Palestine for a single moment.

In December, East Palestine resident Jami Wallace told Fox News, “If you would have ever told me as a United States citizen that I’d be seeing the suffering that I see and that I would be completely ignored, not only by our own town, but the state government and our federal government, I would have never believed it.”

“But that’s what we’re living. Biden still hasn’t been here,” she added.

Wallace went on, “We’ve been going through trauma for almost a year now.”

“I would argue that we are worse off today than we were on February 3rd. This is far from over,” she concluded.

On Feb. 3, a Norfolk Southen 150-car freight train derailed spilling hazardous chemicals and devestating residents of the small town in East Palestine.

Residents continue to express their distrust of the government after being ignored by the Biden administration.

Zsuzsa Gyenes detailed how the smell alone made her sick while evacuating with her 9-year-old son, “I could see the haze and the smell was so thick,” via Roll Call.

She and about 100 other families remain displaced from the disaster, meanwhile no long-term health checks have been instituted.
