Elon Musk was seen visiting Israel and areas affected by Hamas terrorists in the aftermath of the Oct. 7 attack on Israel.

In a photo posted to X, formerly Twitter, by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the two men were seen standing and observing the damage left on the community of Kibbutz Kfar Aza.

During Musk’s visit to Kibbutz Kfar Aza, he was shown a presentation on Hamas’ attack, and heard from Liad Diamond, a member of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson’s unit, and Yossi Keren, the head of the Negev Council, according to The Jerusalem Post.

In a live chat on X with Netanyahu, Musk spoke with Netanyahu on his thoughts regarding what he had seen during his tour of Israel.

“It was jarring to see the scene of the massacre, or one of the scenes of the massacres, as well as to see the short film afterwards, that showed more of innocent people getting killed,” Musk told Netanyahu, adding that it was “troubling” to see the “joy” of Hamas terrorists in murdering Israeli citizens.

Netanyahu pointed out how Hamas was a “death cult” that glorified “gore.”

“Some of the things that we saw are children being murdered in front of their parents, parents being murdered in front of their children, mothers who hid their, their little boys in a laundromat, in an oven, or in a hidden attic and these monsters found the attic and you can imagine what these people felt,” Netanyahu told Musk. “These little boys felt like in a grim fairy tale. The monster is coming at you and they kill them and burn them. They beheaded women, they beheaded men.”

Musk’s visit to Israel comes as Hamas and Israel have negotiated a truce agreement in exchange for the release of prisoners on both sides.

On Friday, the first group of hostages consisting of 13 Israelis and 12 Thai nationals were released. In exchange, Israel released 39 Palestinian prisoners, including 24 women and 15 teenage boys.

A second group of hostages, consisting of 13 Israelis and four Thai nationals were released on Saturday. Emily Hand, 9, and Hila Rotem, 13, were among those released in the second group.

On Sunday, a third group of 17 hostages, including 14 Israelis and the first American were released. The following day, eleven hostages were released by Hamas on Monday.

The aunt of Eitan Yahalomi, 12, one of the hostages released on Monday, told reporters that Hamas had forced him to watch videos of the atrocities they had committed.

“The Hamas terrorists forced him to watch films of the horrors, the kind that no one wants to see, they forced him to watch them,” Devora Cohen said, adding when the boy arrived in Gaza he was beaten.
