Comedian Pauly Shore wasn’t just a guest on the “Drew Barrymore Show” Friday; he came prepared to be her husband… maybe?

Shore is known for his comedy movie roles, but also currently has a YouTube miniseries
called “Hooray for Paulywood,” where he offers cringe humor mocking himself and his career.
So whether audiences should plan for a Paulymore wedding or a Barryshore family is uncertain, but Shore did propose to Barrymore after she praised him and his persona.
In a clip posted to YouTube by “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the host said, “You are just an amazing force of light. You can’t even say your name without people saying ‘Oh my God, yes!’ Isn’t that amazing, your name is synonymous with joy?”
Shore agreed and then explained, “It’s weird because, you know, I’m not in a relationship now. Meaning I don’t have a girlfriend.”
“It’s very, very difficult for me to have a girlfriend because it’s hard for me to let love in because I’m scared to get hurt,” he added.
Then Shore noted, “I want to do it with the right person. That’s the most important thing.”
Barrymore asked him, “What’s the right person for you?”
“Someone that is my best friend,” Shore went on. “Someone that, it’s not about sex, it’s not about how you look, it’s about, ‘Yo, let’s go get a sandwich.’ You know what I mean? More of a friendship.”
He then described how Barrymore appreciated his mother and added, “What Drew doesn’t know is that my mother was not happy when you married Tom Green.”
“And she said to me, she goes, ‘Pauly, Drew should marry you,” he added.
Then he said, “That’s how I feel, too. And that’s why I came here tonight, on this glorious night, to present you with a ring.”
Barrymore tried on the ring and held it up while the audience cheered. Berrymore said, “This is an amazing engagement ring, by the way.”
“What do you think? This is pretty big,” Shore said.
Barrymore told viewers to tune in to the next episode to see her answer stating, “This is a wild ride. Pauly Shore, I love you so much!”
