Former President Donald Trump is lashing out at “Fox & Friends” for not showing polls he likes.

In a post on Truth Social Thursday morning, Trump wrote, “Why doesn’t Fox and Friends show all of the Polls where I am beating Biden, by a lot. They just won’t do it!”

“Also, they purposely show the absolutely worst pictures of me, especially the big ‘orange’ one with my chin pulled way back. They think they are getting away with something, they’re not,” he claimed.

Finally, Trump added, “Just like 2016 all over again…And then they want me to debate!”

Polls show Trump is leading the field for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

According to RealClearPolitics’ average of polls, the former president receives 54.6% of the vote, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) comes in second at 14.8%.

However, early polls of a hypothetical match-up between Trump and President Joe Biden show a much closer race.

RealClearPolitics’ average of general election polls shows Biden holds a narrow 0.4% lead over Trump.

The former president’s post comes less than a week before the first Republican presidential primary debate, which is being moderated by Fox News on Aug. 23.

Trump has not said whether he will attend the debate.
