The co-hosts of ABC’s “The View” are making light of a report about a spate of bitings by President Joe Biden’s dog.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg brought up the report on Wednesday in a mockingly somber tone.

“This is getting really hard to do,” she said before pretending to wipe away a tear.

She continued, “But another member of the Biden family is under more scrutiny. And I don’t know why this is happening, but OK. Conservative group Judicial Watch released Secret Service records that implicate Joe Biden’s dog Commander in 10 — count them 10 — biting incidents.”

Before Goldberg could say anything else, she burst into laughter.

The other co-hosts were seen laughing as Goldberg spoke.

Joy Behar says they're attacking people because of their "bellicose, war-like type names" (Major and Commander).

Joy Behar chimed in, “The main thing is the names are really what’s wrong. They called the dog Commander, they called… what’s the other one? Major. These are very bellicose war-like type names.

“They need to name these dogs Fluffy, Sweety Pie, and then the dog will calm down,” she added.

Meanwhile, Sunny Hostin suggested the Bidens should get a chihuahua.

The exchange comes after The New York Post report based on documents it reviewed that the president’s German shepherd, Commander, bit seven people in a four-month span.

In one incident in November 2022, a Secret Service agent was referred to a local hospital for treatment after being bit.

Biden’s other dog, Major, was given to family friends after a series of biting incidents in 2021.

In a statement after the report, the White House said the biting incidents were due to the “unique and often stressful environment for family pets” at the executive mansion.

“The First Family is working through ways to make this situation better for everyone,” it added.
