Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is calling for one president’s impeachments to be expunged, and another president to be impeached.

Speaking on the House floor on Tuesday, Greene referenced a series of corruption allegations made against President Joe Biden.

“What I’m demanding is that the Republican-led House of Representatives move forward on an impeachment inquiry on Joe Biden, because this type of corruption should never be allowed to stand,” she said.

The Georgia congresswoman added, “We must expunge President Trump’s wrongful impeachments, and we must impeach Joe Biden.”

On Saturday, Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) also called for Biden to be impeached and for former President Donald Trump’s two impeachments to be expunged.

Trump was impeached in 2019 on the charges of obstruction of Congress and abuse of power, and in 2021 for “incitement of insurrection.”

In both cases, the Senate declined to convict him.

Greene has repeatedly introduced impeachment resolutions against Biden.

However, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said on Monday, Republicans’ investigation of the president is “rising to the level of impeachment inquiry.

McCarthy pointed to an unverified FBI document known as an FD-1023 that contained allegations Biden was involved in a foreign bribery scheme.

According to the allegation in the FD-1023, an informant who the FBI described as “highly credible,” provided information about meetings that took place as early as 2015.

The informant shared information about a 2016 meeting allegedly involving Mykola Zlochevsky, the CEO of Ukrainian energy company Burisma, who claimed he made two $5 million payments to “the Bidens.” However, he did not specify which family members.

The FBI noted the informant could not “provide any further opinion as the veracity” of the allegations.

White House spokesperson Ian Sams said in a statement to CNN the allegations have been “debunked for years.”
