IRS Whistleblower Joseph Ziegler testified that the Biden family received $17.3 million from foreign nationals during the House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday.
According to the New York Post, this allegedly occurred between 2014 and 2018.
During the hearing, Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) asked Ziegler, “Through your investigation, how much money did you uncover was coming from Ukraine, Romania, and China?”

Ziegler riffled through his documents and answered, “$17.3 million approximately.”
“You and Mr. Shapley are the guys that investigate criminal tax evasion on an international scale. Is that correct?,” Donalds asked.
Ziegler affirmed that this is true. Donalds then noted that through both the House investigation and the IRS investigation they have found the same issues independent of each other.
Donalds asked, “And we’re supposed to think that Joe Biden knows nothing?”
He then suggested that the Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General, and others be questioned regarding this information.
While answering questions from House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), Ziegler also admitted, “The purpose of documenting the foreign sources is part of a normal international tax investigation,” Ziegler said.
“We have to figure out where the money is coming from,” Ziegler added.
According to the New York Post, nearly half of the alleged money received through supposed “influence-peddling” went to Hunter Biden. Other Biden family members and business connections have been accused of receiving the rest.
The House Oversight Committee followed up with a tweet after the hearing. They thanked the IRS Whistleblowers and listed key elements of the investigation.

This included evidence that “Hunter received millions of dollars from China, Ukraine, and Romania,” and “Joe Biden knew and was possibly involved in his family’s business schemes.”
In addition, “The whistleblowers confirm they were not allowed to follow evidence that could have led to Joe Biden.”
It was also noted in the tweet that whistleblower Gary Shapley has been reprimanded, along with Ziegler, for coming forward:
“Both Shapley and Ziegler confirmed they were retaliated against. Shapley, who is still employed by the IRS, has not heard from his direct supervisor in six weeks.”
