According to the USA Today report, Nassar was stabbed in the chest and back.

The “disgraced doctor” was sentenced to 40 years in prison after over 150 victims came forward during a seven-day hearing in 2018, per CBS News.

He pleaded guilty to molesting the gymnasts while performing medical checks and treatment.

During his appeals trial, Ingrham County Judge Rosemarie Aquilina said, “Our Constitution does not allow for cruel and unusual punishment.”

She added, “If it did, I have to say I might allow what he did to all of these beautiful souls, these young women in their childhood. I would allow someone or many people to do to him what he did to others.”

Nassar was already serving time in federal prison on child pornography charges, and the added sentence is expected to keep him behind bars for the rest of his life.

Aquilina called it his “death warrant.”

Now Nassar is recovering from stab wounds received in prison and some are once again revisiting the details of his crimes.
