We are over halfway through President Joe Biden’s time in office, and somehow his vice president continues to make news for just the strangest and most confusing statements possible.

On Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris decided she would provide her version of the word “culture,” during the Festival of Culture, and the result was probably what you expect.

“Culture… it is a reflection of our moment and our time. Right?” Harris said.

She continued, “And present culture is the way we express how we’re feeling about the moment and we should always find times to express how we feel about the moment.”

Harris then appeared to allude to Psalm 30:5 as she stated, “That is a reflection of joy. Because, you know… it comes in the morning.”

“We have to find ways to also express the way we feel about the moment in terms of just having language and a connection to how people are experiencing life. And I think about it in that way, too,” she added.

Watch the video below:

One user joked, “With eloquence like that, I just can’t fathom why she has the lowest job approval in VP history.”

Another user suggested there was a calculated reason for such statements, “She does this on purpose. Her only job is to keep Joe in office and that’s why she does this.”

“Behind Kamala’s word salad, there is an important inspirational message – Literally anyone can be Vice President of the United States,” wrote another user.

Virginia’s Republican Party tweeted, “Kamala Harris is that kid in your freshman English class who forgot about the assignment until the night before it was due and is desperate to meet the word count.”

There have been considerably worse moments, like when she laughed uncontrollably when she was asked about Ukrainian refugees β€” or when she tried to explain the war in Ukraine like she was talking to a toddler.

Still, despite all the reported attempts to help give Harris’ image a boost or repair her image, it appears she is her own worst enemy.

The White House can try all it wants to give her assignments or new public-facing roles or talk her up to try to boost her image, but when she continues to open her mouth and have such empty and confusing statements come out, there’s not much that can be done to help.
