Sodom and Gomorrah began trending on Twitter after various LGBTQ+ events allowed nudity and sexual content in front of children.

From New York to Los Angeles and various cities across the nation and beyond, pride parades took place over the weekend and will continue through the month.

These have been advertised as “family-friendly” events by various outlets including, Parent Map and Gay City News. But the content is being questioned after nudity, sexualization, and even a chant claiming “We’re coming for your children” erupted from pride goers.

Journalist Andy Ngo posted video footage of a “clothing optional” pride water party Friday. This displayed adults and children participating together in public.

Libs of TikTok shared a video of a man twerking for children in his underwear at this year’s Minnesota pride parade, along with footage of the same man doing the same thing last year with the question, “Is this a yearly tradition?”

This man twerking for kids appears to be the same man who twerked for kids at last year’s Minnesota pride parade. Is this a yearly tradition? https://t.co/fhLNQ4wkEJ

Pictures of a pride goer wearing a Satanic rainbow shirt that says, “NOT TODAY JESUS” has also been circulated under the Sodom and Gomorrah trend, via political scientist Scarlett Johnson.

Most recently, The Daily Caller reported nude cyclists have biked through the Seattle pride parade in front of children amid ongoing discussions of what is age-appropriate for underage minors.

Pride month has led to numerous headlines regarding the content and concerns about the sexualization of society, and especially children.

In April, a Florida pride parade had to be canceled due to non-compliance with anti-lewd laws in the area, per the Washington Examiner.

By early June, a “family-friendly” West Hollywood pride parade was criticized for displaying BDSM sex acts before underage audiences, via Fox News.

According to the Post Millennial, fetishists performed for a crowd including children in Toronto on Sunday. Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau’s Deputy Prime Minister, Chrystia Freeland, was there supporting the event.

In addition, participants at the New York City drag march paraded down the street chanting, “We’re here. We’re queer. We’re coming for your children,” per the Western Journal.

A Toronto pride event polled attendees using Play-Doh cups and colorful Popsicle sticks as to whether or not kindergartners should receive sexual education.

The results were posted to Twitter, displaying much more support to do so. This has led parents, and those who believe in values like modesty, to compare pride events to what led to the fall of Sodom and Gomorrah in the ancient Bible story.
