White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is facing questions about those who are asking if President Joe Biden would “survive” another term.

Fox News’ Jacqui Heinrich pointed out during a press briefing on Monday that Republican presidential hopeful Nikki Haley has raised doubts the current president would serve a whole second term.

“She also said that a vote for President Biden is a vote for Vice President Kamala Harris,” Heinrich continued.

She asked, “What do you say to anyone who is questioning whether the president would survive a full four-year term?”

Jean-Pierre responded, “Let me just say this, I’m not going to comment on 2024, [Haley] is a candidate, so [I] want to be very careful here. And we do follow the Hatch Act, so I want to be really, really mindful here.”

“Look, this is a president… if you look at what he’s been able to do, he has been able to push forward and get done historic pieces of legislation. He has gotten more done than any other president, when you think about the infrastructure legislation,” she continued.

Jean-Pierre added:

“This is a president that has been attacked during 2020, where people said, ‘Oh, no… he’s not going to win. He’s not able to get it done. There’s no way he’s going to be the next president.’ And he made it happen.”

She went on to cite Democrats’ better-than-expected showing in the 2022 midterm elections.

And she concluded her answer, saying, “I’ll leave you with a quote here. Here’s something that I think that was said a couple of days ago. It’s a Huffington Post headline: ‘After calling Joe Biden senile, Republicans complain he outsmarted them.’”

Haley has previously suggested Biden, who is 80, might not live to see the end of a second term.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Haley said, “No one should feel good about watching the president fall. While this is hard to see, we have to be honest with the American people. Our enemies see the same TV clips and wonder who is in charge.”

She continued to suggest Vice President Kamala Harris might become president as she said, “Joe Biden is the oldest president in history, and if he’s reelected, we could end up with a President Harris.”

“This is why I have repeatedly called for mental competency tests and term limits for politicians,” she added.

Her comments came after a video captured Biden falling on stage at the Air Force Academy.
